In A Word

That is the new theme for March on the NaBloPoMo site. I'm not going to bother explaining it. Because if you write these things I'm betting you can figure it out.

With the time I currently have in each day, it's a perfect theme. Since I'm working long shift hours without access to blogger, I can just come home before midnight and write a single word that describes my day. Maybe a sentence or two after it. And I'm done. If I have more time, I can expound. It's perfect. So I'm going to make a go of it.

Today's word is.....

UNDER-UTILIZED

It's pretty much what I felt until today, when my 12-hour shift team (of which I was the deputy team leader) got a new team leader.  One who wasn't so anal-retentive-up-on-the-governor-get-ahead-of-tasking-and-invent-shit-to-do-and-make-me-some-slides-about-it-while-you're-at-it about everything.

The new guy let me actually be the deputy.  Make decisions.  Direct action. Make and answer requests for information.

So I no longer feel under-utilized.
